Today is February 14 , 2013 My husband and decided to go for a ride to Marathon Ontario . they have Extra foods store [ grocery ] there .and they have more varieties there . as always we , like to give our businesses there . my husband dropped me off to the grocery store while he go and visit his friend in Marathon . so while his gone to see hs friend , I decided to kill time and browsed around inside the store and as I browsing I caught my eye on an ”SALE” iten like , Liquid Dawn Bleach Rapids it was on sale for $ 1,97 limit 2 only . so I grab 2 two bttles of Liquid Dawn Bleach Rapids . I brought it to the cashier so she can scan on it , it didn’t not show the sale of the Liquid Dawn it scan as $2.67 so I told the cashier it was on sale for $ 1.97 . she said , [ I did not know her name ] because I’m not from that town .[ Marathon ] ”Its not on sale ” then the other cashier heard us [ this second cashier is very , very rude to me I dont think she should be allowed to work in the public ! they should put here as a JANITORIAL OR SHOULD F.I.R.E.D HER !!! '' sorry to say this , but this is how I feel towards her '' she THE RUDE CASHIER - proceed to go and check the sale price of the Liquid Dawn Bleach and came back with a '' GRIM'' on her face '' saying . ''IT ON SALE '' $ 1.97 and I was saying to myself , '' that's right ! .... so I gave my $ 10.00 to the cashier who was tending me from the first place . as I was waiting for my change the cashier was tending me she gave my change $ 4.00 so I told her , its on sale for $1.97 and she charges me $ 6.something did not remember the exact amount . due to I was already starting to get upset .! so I said to her , I gave you $10.00 dollars and its $ 1.97 each she said , yeah ,'' but ah , she will do the refunds for you [ the other third cashier ] so I said to her ok . yeah , and all of a Sudden ! This Extremly Rude Cashier Shouted at me , YOU HAVE TO GO OVER THERE !!! I was very , very upset ! THIS is not the first time that I gotten a RUDE behavior from this Cashier .! I feel that she’s perejudice because its not only me , my friends , my sister who are Asian say the thing and I notice , Native Canadian avoided her Till . so I talk to the Assistant Manager she Apologized , she took my name and number . but , I also writing this note to you , I think you should know about this BAD BEHAVIOR !
PS : The Canadian Governtment past bill 168 which makes it ILLEGAL the way she Speaks to your CUSTOMERS !!
today is March 16th 2013, my mother and I went to Zehrs in the Laurentian Plaza and was good service. We went in to get fruits, bread, and other stuff, not a lot of groceries… when it was are turn to pay for our food, the cashier, and the bagger were quick at their jobs and we were out of there in no time… plus the bagger was kind enough to tell me where he put the 2 cartons of eggs and they both said “Have a nice day”. so it was a good day to go shopping…
Feb.8th..my wife and I were in your Bison Drive store around 10:30 p.m.when I noticed 2 asian cleaning staff were cleaning out the bread bins with the vacum that they use regularily on the floor.I know this because I asked them.That stopped me buying any buns then and in the future…..now I have real concerns about buying anything from the bulk bins .This was very troubling and I ask you if this is normal practice.
Shopped at your Cochrane, Ontario Store #02678 on Monday, May 6 at 3:56 p.m. I very seldom am pleased with the service at this store, but, as it is the closest grocery store in the area, I have very little choice. In addition to a very, very slim selection of vegetarian and vegan items, the service usually is not very friendly.
On Monday I went to the check out to pay for my items. The total of my bill came to $31.36. when I gave the cashier $31.35, she asked me if I had a penny. I told her that I didn’t think that I did as the penny is being phased out. She then asked me for a nickel because the policy at this store is to round up to $31.40. I did find a penny and told her that this is the reason I much prefer to shop and hour and a half away at a major city. This particular cashier does not smile, does not say please or thank you and, in general, is not very friendly.
I am sorry that I have to make such a statement, but, I am definitely not a happy shopper at this particular Valu Mart.
