My wife and I purchased a freezer for our son for X-mas on Nov. 15/12. We had it delivered to our home and the box the freezer was in was in perfect condition. When we took it to my sons house and opened it up there was a big dent in the front left bottom corner where the indicator light is. I took pictures of the freezer and of the undamaged box and went into sears to have it exchanged. I told the salesman that because the box was undamaged and the styrofoam protection was undamaged the only thing that seemed possible was a DAMAGED freezer was put into an undamaged box. I almost think that is how they get rid of their stock of damaged goods. Give it to a customer and see what happens! I rescheduled a new delivery and pickup time of the damaged freezer. I gave the salesman my sons address and confirmed that the new one goes there and not my home. I also told him my is in a new area but very easy to find. Well, the delivery guys took the freezer to the wrong address in the wrong end of town. They were given the avenue as a street and the street as an avenue and they still could not deliver it to my son. My son talked to the driver and he made sure that the office got the right address.”YEH – RIGHT’!!! We rescheduled a new delivery day so my son will have waste another day waiting for the delivery. He even called the delivery office to confirm a time and his ADDRESS but they still managed to SCREW THIS UP “AGAIN”!!!! The truck went and delivered to the SAME WRONG ADDRESS!!! Now I ask “How hard is it to deliver a box in your own city. Edmonton is not that big of a city. When my son called me and told me this that HE WASTED ANOTHER DAY FOR THIS INCOMPETENT SERVICE!!!I went to the store and saw the same salesman and told him I just want my money back and they can come get their freezer if they can do that right? I am so disappointed with SEARS delivery service that I’ll not purchase anything that does not fit in a bag.

We recently purchased a new stackable washer and dryer from the Sears store in Duncan, B.C. We were very pleased with the service that we got from Sears and particularly the staff. There was no pressure to buy, just some very good information. We also shop at the Sears store in Nanaimo, and was very pleased to get some quality merchandise at some excellent clearance buys. As Seniors this is very much appreciated.

I have shopped for over 55 yrs. at Sears and have enjoyed every purchase. The staff are pleasant and helpful. My first purchases were made in Barrie, Ontario and in many other cities. We now reside in Stoney Creek/Hamilton and shop at Eastgate Square. Thank you!
