I’ve followed the instructions to enable cookies…no questions there…but a blank “done” page appears at the end. What am I to do next to activate my gift subscription?

we received a gift card and to have to sign up our credit card to this company in order to use a 3 month pre paid gift card ? That is outrageous. That is a company trying to take advantage of consumers by hoping they will forget to cancel the account. That is an unfair business practice and should not be allowed to continue. They should hire real computer programers who can set the pre paid gift code to shut down after its activation period. Heaven knows if the gift card is more than a year old I bet there systems reject it, so if they can do that why can’t they set the code up to stop after the prepaid period. Amazing how they want to take advantage of the consumer versus be a customer friendly system.

Companies like this , even when you cancel the free account , it will be a horrid mess to straighten the billing system. Companies like this continue to hurt the american consumer.

DO NOT give a Netflix gift subscription. Your recipient will be required to enter THEIR credit card information (a prepaid credit card won’t work) which will authorize Netflix to charge for the subscription after the gift subscription runs out unless they remember to cancel first.

Same goes for me, I can’t use my gift card because I do not have credit card. This is a gift card, someone has already paid for it, I shouldn’t have to give them a credit card number. I have had Hackers on my computer, netflix might be safe but mines not always safe. I will have to give gift back to friend which seems rude.

Been with Netflix for quite some time, now love it for the kids. Alot, better than paying all that extra money for Direct TV, Midcontinent, and some of them other tv promotions always playin the same ole same ole and being charge way to much. The only thing I have a problem is play some new releases change up. Dang I’ve tried the cd thing too where u get so many every month and thats a crock too, cause you put them on your queue and it takes FOREVER to get them too and thats not right. Shoot, now I see why alot of pple are changin over to the Redbox they give you deals and promotions unlike here, shoot been with you guys since almost 2005 and what have I gotten, NOTTA THING! Come on folks quit being so greedy put some new stuff out more often, u’ll c a bigger and better turn out! and another thing you all got me to join back here around summer time never, never did get my EBAY BUCKS! that was suppose to be 10.oo on my ebay account. NOT RIGHT! SHAME ON U OR EBAY false advertising…..

I am being charged monthly for Netflix by mail at the present time. I received a gift subscription for 12 months of movies. I would like to continue to receive Netflix by mail but I would like to pay with the gift card instead of being billed monthly on my credit card. How do I do this?
