What is Kmart 5 Star Customer Service?
Kmart has launched a new “5 Star Customer Service” program at all stores. According to this program, when you get help from their employee, you can receive a card identifying that employee’s name and the store number. Then you can go to www.Kmart.com/5star to provide your experience information, including the Store Number, Associate Name and how they helped you.

I went to Kmart to get a sale item at 9:30am and was told they were sold out. I wanted a raincheck and was sent to a manager. The manager that helped me was Stanley Lopez store #4245 let me tell you this was my luckly day. He not only had to research the item number but also said he would call me when it came in….my sure I heard that before but he said he would and to my surprise two days later he called. This is what i called going the extra mile and i was extremely greatful since it was a mothers day gift. Thanks Staley you made my day !!!
I HAVE BEEN IN YOUR STORE 4444 SEVERAL TIMES AND KATELYNN #60 HAS WAITED ON ME MANY TIMES. SHE IS QUICK AND ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL. THIS STORE HAS MANY GREAT ASSOC. AND I LOVE SHOPPING THERE. I RETIRED FROM SEARS AFTER 40 YRS AND THIS IS GREAT CUST. SERVICE. I FORGOT TO SAY HOW FRIENDLY KATELYNN IS ALSO.
i went into kmart in redlands ca and i was told that i had to go to another line cause she was closed she had the worst attitude and i wanted to just leave but the associate called me over to her line and made me feel so welcome and appericated for being a customer her name was Tammy and i just wanted to say had it not been for her i would have left and not bought anything
I just wanted to say what a great employee Kmart Store #4112 has in Kathryn Messer. Everytime I have been through her checkout line she is so courteous & ask me for my Shop Rewards card. The other day May 3, 2010 I was behind this lady that didn’t know about the Shop Rewards card program & Kathryn took the time to give her some information as I told her I was not in a hurry because now adays every penny you can save or earn means a lot. Even my husband said how polite she was went he went through her line. She’s definitely an asset to Store #4112. Please let her know she is appreciated!!!

Everytime Pam #38 from 3009 kmart waits on me I know she is up on everything that is going on around her and she does a great job in the garden shop. The flowers are really looking good and the roses are the best they have ever looked. I think she is doing a great job out in the garden center and its always nice to talk to her and see whats new at Kmart.
I went into Kmart to find some Chic demin pants. There were not any pants out in my size. Sofa was very nice and went to the back to see if there were any back there. She found three pairs. They had a sell on them for Mother’s Day. I just missed the sell. I asked if by any chance if I could have them for the same price. She talked to the manager about it. The manger said it was ok. Her number is 223, and the store number is 4972. Thank you Sofa.
I went to your Upland K-mart looking for a Photo Printer. The staff there were very helpul and pleasant. A service with a smile. Dolly were very helpful and she did a great job! K-mart store #4749

This morning hubby says, “honey, our comforter is looking ragged-maybe you should start looking for a new one”. Im thinking…easier said than done. After all, products are limited here in Hawaii and Im certainly NOT going to pay Hawaii’s sky high prices! I will wait when we move in 1.5 years. However, I went to Kmart for a few things and when I got there, I figured…I will humor myself and hubby to “look”. Well, I saw 2 products. One 12 peice bed in a bag for sale and the other which cost a little more, (but it was manageable) just a comforter… I was looking at more of which comforter will look nice. So, I asked a kmart employee. You see, my delima was one that I liked (and I never mentioned to her which one I liked because I want an honest answer and in her opinion)…was it going to be too much of that rich rouge champage color since I have curtains the same color or should I pick the other which is a combination of the rouge with three other colors while the other was just the dominant color same as the curtains …but I described my room, the rug color, the walls, the furniture color and she picked out the one that would look best and it just so happened to be the one on sale! So, because there was a sale, I got a 12 peice King bedding for $31.50 and king sheets for $29.99…VERY CHEAP in Hawaii!!! My total was $64.39 and by the way….IT LOOKS WONDERFUL !!! Hubby liked it!!! Not too masculin nor feminin…just right.

I want to thank Edna Schaaf at store 3336 for her gracious loving ways. She made my food taste better just being who she is, a loving,kind,sweet person. She is a real asset to her store, people need to be treated special and she goes above board to show just that, that you are special to her. THANKS EDNA!!!!!!

I was at store 4935 and had purchased alot of stuff and when they scanned my rewards card it didn’t register so after i checked out I went to customer service and they had to return everything and then re-ring the total order. Lynda Ward was very understanding and took the time to do this. She is a very good customer service person and new what had to be done and completed it.
Miss Jessica Armstrong, store number 3663, was very helpful during my visit on today. When checking out after purchasing an item, she asked if I was aware of the coupon in the store’s sales paper for said item. I was not. She politely got the store ad, clipped the coupon, and gave me the credit. Thank you, Jessica, for your kindness.

I have the pleasure of shopping in store # 9207 Beckley WV. Tonya turner is always so cheerful and helpful to my wife and me. We live close by and have always shopped KMART. We missed Tonya the last time there and was hoping she had not left. But we got to see her yesterday. Thanks Tonya for all you do for us.

It was a pleasure shopping at store # 3879 in Braintrre Mass. Your employee Mike helped us get a rain check .Then when I called to see if it was in he held it for me at the service desk until my wife and son went and got it and then helped my wife and son put it into the car.I just wanted to let you know you need more kind people like Mike K to work at all your kmart stores. I was at K-Mart #4870 in Clermont, Fl. There is a LADY that works there who is at the service desk who is a GEM! Her name is Michaele. I have seen people who are just nasty to everyone there and she is always nice to them no matter what they say to her or anyone else that works there. Michaele treats everyone so nice and always with a smile. The store manager needs to clone her, she is a credit to K-Mart. Please let her know how much she is appreciated by the customers. I have talked to people that go there and they all know who she is and how nice she is. I must say from what I can see “she knows her stuff” no problem to big or too hard for her to take care of and I might add she does it quickly!
