What is Kmart 5 Star Customer Service?
Kmart has launched a new “5 Star Customer Service” program at all stores. According to this program, when you get help from their employee, you can receive a card identifying that employee’s name and the store number. Then you can go to www.Kmart.com/5star to provide your experience information, including the Store Number, Associate Name and how they helped you.

Today I went to K-mart Store #7639 and had a very pleasant experience. I was approached by an employee Dawn Bradley, I must have had a questionable look on my face , because she immediately asked to help me find the curtain tie-backs. Dawn was very helpful and courteous and K-Mart should hire other outstanding employees such as DAWN BRADLEY, I’am sure their business would increase tredmendously with employees like DAWN BRADLEY, I WOULD DEFINATELY SHOP THERE AGAIN. I had purchased a Patio set that included a table, 2 chairs & bench. I told him I wasn’t sure we could get it all in my small Toyota. Without fear he willing unpacked & wiggled until we had everything in! He”s my Hero. It makes me smile everytime I look at my patio set.

Our family shops regularly at store 3198. My husband is a physician and we both love the Pharmacist there, Chuck… he’s always SO friendly and helpful. But today I want to acknowledge the exceptional service provided by Shiela Ganoe. She was SO helpful and friendly… very kind… she went out of her way to help me with my shopping needs. The world needs more people like Chuck and Shiela!
My husband just requested I add the following… the ENTIRE Pharmacy staff at store 3198 is EXCEPTIONAL! They provide service above and beyond the expected norms. They are exceedingly friendly, kind, helpful and professional. They are attentive to detail and seem to never “miss a beat”. Corporate KMart, take a close look at store 3198 Pharmacy; they are the standard of service every Pharmacy should strive to attain.
I WENT TO KMART STORE 9392 TODAY FOR AN EXCHANGE. I WAS HELPED BY GINELLE AT THE SERVICE DESK. SHE WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO MAKE SURE THAT I GOT THE PARTS FOR A CHEST I HAD PURCHASED A FEW DAYS PRIOR THAT WERE DAMAGED. SHE HAS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!

My wife Lita and I are very fortunate that Mike Williams of Store# 7680 helped us in a recent sale of a convecion oven. He was very courteous, friendnly and patient with us.
KMart should hire more people like Mike Williams!

Today I went to Kmart and noticed had a wonderful Surprise ! The store Had a Brand New Attitude and Look about it! The staff were the same great people we have known for years and know us. They are always bright cheerful and very Helpful>the store was shining like brand new and the selection of items was best ever!! We will alway go first to K mart now..Special thanks to Aimee manager who was training a new employee with a positive helpful and cheerful attitude & Martha in electronics who is always bright cheerful and helpful>also the shoe department manager who made a special order for shoes for my mother that other stores did not carry>>CONGRATULATIONS K MART !

K-Mart store employee, Joe Fisher, at store #3976 was very helpful with my recent shopping experience. I’ve seen him in the store quite a few times and he is always so friendly and helpful. He is definitely an asset to K-Mart. I wish all salespeople could follow his example.
K-Mart store employee at the Colonial Heights, VA store (sorry, I missplaced the store#), Kathy Hicks, is an exemplary employee in my opinion. She is always cheerful when greeting customers and always goes the extra mile in providing service to K-Mart’s customers. K-Mart is lucky to have such a dedicated employee. Hi i was at store#7353 in johnsoncity tn. Just want to say the cashier Sherrie was ever so helpful, fast, frienly and efficient. Went above and beyond to help elderly lady in wheel chair in front of me. We need more cashier like her, My shopping experience there was wonderful would definatly go back. Great Job!
Shirley Ross from Store #3442, Capital Blvd., Raleigh, NC was an awesome sales associate. She helped me pick out my first flat-screen TC! I asked her a thousand questions and she never once seem to be bothered by that. She even made sure there was someone in the layway dept. She patiently talked with me about the TV, smiled alot and had such a pleasant joy about her. She definitly, in my opiion, can be a mentor for others to follow. I have been a sales associate also and I have worked in a customer service environment for over 27 years. Not too many like “Shirley”. Keep her, give her a raise! Rarely, does one work so hard to please the customer in such a genuinely kind way. Both you and I are fortunate that K-mart employs one named Chova #261. She sliced 5 pounds of meat for my family very thin, shaved. It took her quite some time, but she never complained and stated with a smile how glad she was to do it for me. I visited the Kmart at Minot, North Dakota (4353) today, August 8th, 2010 and was given excellent service in the jewelry department from Linda. I was shopping for a college graduation gift for my daughter. Linda was very helpful and gave me her undivided attention and input in selecting the gift.

Earlier this summer we found a perigo in the lawn & garden dept.@K-Mart,we took the bar code card to the register & pd.for it.We waited 55 mins. for the employees to find it(which they never did,although the system showed two on hand) They refunded our money and told us to call back the next day and ask for Michael Hall who they all said knew everything about the store and could maybe locate it.We live in Illinois and this store is in Ky.so this was quit an inconvience but we wanted it really bad.The next day I drove back to this store in Ky.& found Michael.He had located the Perigo there and was so knowledgeable,nice and friendly.He promptly loaded it after I paid for it again and appologized for my inconvience.Michael went the extra mile,even when the management didn’t.Michael is a great asset to the store and should be aknowledged for his GREAT service to customers.I know that Michael did not have the authority to offer us anykind of discount on the very large purchase that we made but management did.The management did not offer to take any kind of discount off of the large $ amount that we pd.for this item,after all our inconvience&time consuming efforts and having to make two trips to the store.Management could take some lessons from Michael on GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.He is the best and I want to thank him again for all his effort.

I went to store 7382 today and needed some help with some things I wanted to buy, I was having a hard time finding the things I wanted. A lady Grace Case who works at the store came over and asked if she could help me. She really went out of her way to find all the things I needed. Thanks to her I will all ways go back to this store. She was really good old fashion service. We need more people like her.
