I received a letter for renewal on the 28th of November stating I had until November 15th to renew for foodstamps or my benefits would be cut. How could I possibly renew by the 15th when I received the letter almost two weeks after the due date? This is the second time I’ve had this happen. Last time, I spoke to a woman who said there was nothing to be done about the situation and to re-apply. With no other option, I did so and had to wait a few months to be accepted again. I have a two year old daughter and barely have enough to pay bills. What am I supposed to do about feeding her?? Not to mention, I can’t even renew or re-apply online because the COMPASS website is giving me error messages. This is completely unacceptable.
SAME THING ALSO HAPPENED TO US … FORMS WERE SUPOSE TO GET SENT IN BEFORE THE 5TH OF THE MONTH AND DID NOT RECEIVE MAIL TO INNFOR US ABOUT THIS UNTIL THE 8TH .. CALLED NEMURIOUS TIMES … TO ASK ABOUT FORMS … SENT FORMS AND HAVE NOT HEARD BACK YET…

I had two calls for reapply that did not happen on the date it was suppose to. I waited by the phone all day. What am i suppose t do now. I called and the answer I received was that my case had not yet came up and it was a fault of the department please call me
