How to enter the survey:

To start, you should have a receipt from your most recent visit to Cabela’s.

Then open the survey site link www.Cabelas.com/retailsurvey, and select your Cabela’s store location.

On the next page, you need to enter your zip code, transaction ID number from your receipt, and answer some questions about your experience with Cabela’s retail store.

    I am unable to take the Canadian survey for cabelas. Any ideas what I did wrong. I can get into the usa site

    Today I went to enter the survey and it told me that I could not enter to win as I live outside the USA. Did I do something wrong as Canada Cabela’s did not come up, only the USA?

  4. Today my husband & I took our 10 yr.old grandson toCabelas, so he could pick out some items he wished for as he loves outdoor activities. Fromthe inviting fireplace as you enter, to the life like animals up in the trees, displayed on the walls & floors we were in awe. Your employees were very pleasant& took time to answer all our questions. We stayed over an hour, but had to leave as our grandson is a diabetic & had to take his insulin. Needless to say we will return soon and often. Thanks so much for the great experience. Carolyn Mason

    I just had the worst shopping experience at the Prairie du Chien Cabelas. I was greeted warmly and all the sales people were anxious to help me. Then I went to the gun counter to purchase a Beretta Storm rifle. I knew what I wanted, so it would take the salesman maybe 5 minutes to help me. There were 5 men working behind the counter. One of them was helping a customer and the other 4 were in a cluster and wouldn’t move to help me or the other customers. I went up to sale man Darrnell and asked about the rifle and he pointed to the other end of the counter and said they were down there. I headed that way and when I found them, Darrnell was helping someone else. When i started to approach the other sales clerks, even though we had made eye contact, they scattered and went different directions. I stood there for 41 minutes at the counter with out being acknowledged. During this time about 7 more customers came and stood waiting to be helped. When Darrnell was done with his customer after knowing I was waiting to be helped he asked a gentleman behind me if he could help him. When I loudly voiced my objection, Darrnell would not answer me and ignored me.
    I left and went and complained to a store manager, Katie. Unfortunately all she could focus on was trying to find out how much money off the rifle did she have to offer me to make me happy. We talked for 5 minutes with her not interested in what had happened but with what compensation I needed to be happy. I told her that after wasting 45 minutes of my life to have a sales person be rude to me, she was not going to be able to buy my happiness. Unfortunately by Katie’s response, I have the feeling she has to deal with upset customers a lot and the only way she knows how to deal with them is by giving them a discount and not fix the problem or listen to them.
    The highlight of the shopping experience was a cashier named Marrissa. She was perfect. When she asked my buddy if he had found everything, he told her of one item we had tried to find but could only see and empty shelf. She checked the computer and found the item we had come to get was in the backroom. She wrote up an order and we had the item in 13 minutes.
    We have to drive two hours to get to Cabela’s from Cedar Falls, Iowa. This is a shopping trip we usually make three times a year. We try to buy all of our hunting, fishing and boating equipment during these trips. Next time we will head south and go to Bass Pro Shop
