  1. Let me clarify where I had this most stressful
Experience… It was at Nordstrom in the Garden
    State Plaza Mall.

I do not want to call any names in this negative
Situation but take this as a learning experience.

I was shopping at Nordstrom South Coast CA, for Eileen Fisher cloths on Friday August 9,2013 When Veronica Poulson ask if she could help me. She did a wonderful job bringing different colors and garments to my dressing room that I didn’t think I would wear. She was kind and was willing to put up with my complaining, and introduced me to different styles. Made me feel very compfortable. I want to thank you and Veronica for her help.
Thank you again a long time customer.

I purchased two suits and a pair of pants on Aug. 3 at the Durham NC store and was promised a alteration completion date of 8/13. Now it is 8/22 and I still have not received my merchandise. This is after numerous phone calls, (one of which I got transferred three times, each person telling me that they were transferring me to the suit department). Every person I talked with on the calls had clearly been coached on being courteous, however none of them seemed to actually know what they were doing or how to solve my problem. This includes the guy who sold me the suits. This is not at all what I expected from Nordstrom and not in tune with what the company so boisterously proclaims as being a company with exemplary customer service.

I have been a loyal Nordstrom customer since 1975. My last two transactions were poorly exicuted. They were telephone orders which arrived minus the return sticker. I was not pleased with the merchandise, as the saleswoman sent what she thought was a color match to the shade I gave her. Both sales women seemed disinterested in finding a perfect match in foundation. The most recent woman rushed through my order and didn’t get it right, plus she also omitted the promised return sticker. They were reluctant to send samples along with my order. She sent samples of Clinique, not a line I care for. I live an hour and forty minutes from Fashion Island and greatly appreciate a sample of two or three shades so I can make a good decision when I call to place an order. So many times I have been told ” We are out of containers”. I spoke to the manager once, inquiring the where a bouts of my long awaited order, and she asked ” Do you have your receipt?”. How could I have a receipt when the package had not yet arrived? I could hardly understand her broken English, and clearly, she wasn’t listening. What has happened to the quality service at Nordstrom? I am very disappointed as a long time customer, I think I will give Neiman Marcus a try.
