Costco no longer needs to scan coupons. It’s automatic. Just buy the item and the price is reduced. It was wasting paper, time, and money scanning all that crap with a line of 100 people waiting.

I went to Costco today, to use a coupon that would be expiring tomorrow, and the cashier said that the coupon was used. The price I was charged, was the price shown on the sign above the item on the shelf which is what I have been paying in the past!!
Why is that??
